Access control will be accomplished with quality software systems that are meticulously maintained. An access control system is built from four parts. First, a reader is used at the access point. The reader comes in a few options: card- keypad -fingerprint -palm readers, among others. Second, a properly installed cable (system?) carries the data to the controller. Third, the controller relays the data to the computer. Fourth, the access control software installed on the computer grants or denies entry and records the events.
